Setting the key parameters of the plugin
Run "plugin\PLUGIN_LAB\PlugLab_START.exe". |
The first prompt during plugin template creation lets you navigate to the MainEXE of the program.

Most of the start data on the next prompt (that is shown below) are derived from that path and some general settings like author, date etc. are taken from "PlugLabSettings.ini" or just the "normal" defaults (StartMode=disk etc.).
Pressing "Create The Plugin" will create the pluginīs folder with the AutoHelp.cmd and "PlugSettings.ini" and open the new folder.
Run AutoHelp.cmd of the new plugin. This first run will complete the plugin with all required routines and apps (copied from your PlugLab) and create the plugin help.
The plugin will now already be functional for simple programs (not requiring registry entries).

These folders and files are created (or copied from PlugLab) during the first run of the AutoHelp.cmd. (except for the screenshot) |

Auto-generated plugin HELP.htm
The avatar and the "About Me" information are always relating to the author of the plugin (myself only in this example). |
This is a screenshot of the auto-generated help file as it is included with the new plugin.
The authorīs information for the plugin user that is shown under "Plugin Setup" can be edited into "SCRIPTS\HELP\Addl_Info.htm". A JPG pic with the naming pattern "*Shot.jpg" is automatically tied into the help file.
